Lauren Sayers is licensed to practice law in Virginia. Prior to joining Holley & Levine, Lauren attended The Ohio State University for undergrad, and Washington & Lee University's School of Law. At Ohio State, Lauren majored in Criminology & Criminal Justice, and minored in Forensic Science. She is a proud Buckeye (who really only went to the football games for The Best Damn Band in the Land).
As a result of her work during law school, Lauren was awarded the Virginia State Bar Family Law Section Award. She has interned with law firms in Roanoke, Virginia and Columbus, Ohio, and, in Undergrad, she clerked for the Franklin County Public Defender's Office in Columbus. Lauren was the very first judicial intern for the judges of the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of Roanoke City. Her practice currently consists of insurance defense, personal injury law, and general civil litigation.
In her free time, Lauren can be found painting, forcing her friends to test-taste her cooking, practicing Tae Kwon Do (not on her friends), and sampling bakeries around the state.
